Armor Shrine
鎧神社Until the Edo period, our company was called Armor Daimyojin and was revered by people as an ancient shrine in this area, but it is said that the name of the company originated from the fact that the name of the armor was stored in this place by the Japan Samurai Order Gotosho. It is said that in the 3rd year of Tenkei (940), the Prince of Taira Shomon, who was honored in the Kanto region, died on Shimoso Sarushima, and at the beginning of the Celestial Calendar (947) in remembrance of the Duke of the Commonwealth, the armor of the Prince of Shomon was also buried in this place. According to another theory, Fujiwara Hidesato, who came to this area in pursuit of the remnants of the Shomon army, was seriously ill and troubled, and when he was afraid of the wrath of the divine spirit of Lord Shomon, he buried the prince's armor in Enshoji Temple, where Yakushi Nyorai was the main shrine, and built a shrine to mourn the spirit, and he was healed of his illness. When the villagers heard this, they were in awe of the majesty of the gods, and they deeply believed in it as the god of the soil of Kashiwagi Yodobashi. In the first year of the Meiji era, Prince Shomon was transferred to Suesha due to government interference as a violation of the Imperial Court, but after the war, he returned to the head office at the request of all his clan members. The area is all of Kita-Shinjuku and part of Nishi-Shinjuku.
