


Chozenji Temple
長善寺It is a temple of Nichiren Buddhism whose main temple is Minobusan Kuonji, and the name of the mountain is called "Nyohozan" and the name of the temple is "Chozenji". In the 18th year of Tensho (1590), when Toyotomi Hideyoshi unified the world, it was founded in Yanaka, Tokyo by Nichigijin of Enritsuin. At first, it was called Jizobo, and it is said that it was moved to Nippori during the time of the 5th generation Shinnyoin Nichisei Jojin. It was damaged by the Great Kanto Earthquake in the 12th year of Taisho (1923), and in the 15th year of the same year, it was moved to its current location, Koenji, Suginami Ward, for the expansion of the JNR tracks during the time of Enryuin Nichiyojin.
