Haneda Shrine

羽田神社
Haneda Shrine has a large clan area from the entire Haneda area to the current Haneda Airport as the "Kami" of Haneda. In particular, airline companies are deeply revered, and from the New Year to the year, there are pilgrimages to pray for flight safety and aviation safety. In addition, in the first year of Bunkyu (1861), smallpox (smallpox) spread. Since the shogun Tokugawa Iesada visited the temple to pray for the healing of illness and was cured, many worshippers pray for the healing of illness. The shrine enshrines the two gods of the couple, "Susano no Mikoto" and "Inada Hime Mikoto". It is also known for the divine virtues of "enmusubi" and "victory". Its origin is said to have originated from the fact that about 800 years ago, in the Kamakura period, Yojiro Namekata, who was the lord of the naval army of Hanedaura, enshrined the Ushizu Tenno, and it is a remnant of this that some people affectionately call Haneda Shrine "Tenno-san" even today. In the Tokugawa period, it was deeply worshipped by the Tokugawa family, the Shimazu family, the Todo family, and others. In the first year of the Meiji Era (1869), the Ushizu Tennosha Shrine, which was enshrined in the precincts of Jisei-in, became independent as Yakumo Shrine, and in the 40th year of the Meiji era, it was renamed Haneda Shrine, and continues to this day. The new shrine hall was completed in May 63, and the repainting work was completed in March 18. In addition, the divine consideration has deepened, and we are watching over the clan and children as a new company. Haneda Fuji, built in the first year of the Meiji era, is one of the highlights. It was built by people at the time who admired Mt. Fuji in imitation of its appearance, and it is designated as a cultural property of Ota City.
