Iguchi-in
井口院Kazuhisa Kiyonaga, the nineteenth generation of Nakano Hosenji, with the cooperation of Ishijii Mura, Iguchi Hachirozaemon, and Harushige, dedicated Yakushi Nyorai and opened a temple here.
At first, it was called Shinryuzan Kaikuji Prestige Temple, but in the twelfth year of Kanbun (1672), it was renamed the current Kaiguji Iguchi-in.
Since then, until today, as a temple that follows the flow of Kishu Neraiji Temple
We have been closely integrated with the local community.
It is also known as the 70th of the 88 sacred sites in the Kanto region and the 3rd shrine of the 88 sacred sites in Tama Shin-Shikoku, and is visited by many pilgrims throughout the year.
