Iikura Kumano Shrine

飯倉熊野神社
The head office has suffered many revisions since the relocation of the Imperial Throne, and the old books and treasures described in the history of the temple have been burned down, and the details such as the date of its founding are unknown, but according to our company, it is enshrined in the Shibaura seaside in the reign of Emperor Motosho (680-748) and Yoro-nen (717-724). It is also said that it was rebuilt during the Civilization Year (1469-1487) by Ota Michikan (own funds), and a large number of items were donated. According to the Book of Ding Pig in the Remarks of the Imperial Palace, there is a solicitation of the Qingxiang Ayakuri. Keisho is a person of the ninth century, so I know how old your company is. In addition, in the Edo Shi and Edo Famous Places Illustrations, it is said that "after being solicited to Shibahama during the old age, it will be transferred to this place", and it is presumed that it will be enshrined in the present place during the Northern and Southern Dynasties. Various theories need to be further studied, but there is no doubt that the throne is extremely ancient. In the first place, our company was deeply revered by the samurai family, and when we were serving, we received the Ox King Shrine Token. It was listed in the Meiji 5th year village company (former company status). On May 25, 2000, during the Greater East Asia War, the U.S. B-29 bombing destroyed the shrine hall (built after the 16th year of Genroku), the Kagura Hall (built in the 2nd year of Ansei), the shrine office (built in the 12th year of the Taisho era), and many treasures. After that, it was dedicated in the temporary main hall until July 27. Subsequently, the main shrine was donated by Ninobashi and Ono Kogyosho (June 27, Showa 27, frontage 1 room, depth 1 and a half, total tile roof), and in August of the same year, a relocation ceremony was held. In July of Showa 32, for the construction of the Iikura Elementary School auditorium, the adjacent precinct land was transferred, and the fund was mainly donated by the clan members, and the main shrine and shrine office were built, and the seat was relocated in October of Showa 33. In July of Showa 40, the front of the precinct was scraped due to the expansion of the road surface of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and at that time, the tamagaki was renovated, the torii gate and the company name sign were erected, and the October celebration festival was held, and the construction of the company office building began in July 21, and it was completed in May 22, and the current precinct pattern was reached.
