Komagome Fuji Shrine
駒込富士神社It began in 1573 when the lord of Hongo Village solicited the Fuji Sengen Shrine in Suruga on the site of the present University of Tokyo.
In the 5th year of Kanei (1628), the Kaga Maeda family gave the Kamiyashiki to the site, and moved the Asama Shrine to its current location.
The worship hall is located on a mountain that resembles Mt. Fuji, and became one of the bases of Fuji worship in the Edo period.
From the end of June to the beginning of July, the night shops come out and show a lively atmosphere.
