Komatsuri Shrine
駒繋神社About 950 years ago, in the late Heian period, in April of the fourth year of Tenki (1056) of Emperor Mireizumi, Prince Minamoto Yoshiie was ordered by the Imperial Court with his father Prince Yoriyoshi to conquer the Abe clan in Oshu on his way to conquer the Abe clan in Oshu (in the ninth year of the previous year), and it is said that he prayed to the god of his son (our company) for good luck when passing through this area, and it is thought that he solicited the spirits of Izumo Taisha and enshrined them as guardian deities at least before this.
Later, in July of the fifth year of Bunji (1189), when Prince Minamoto Yoritomo personally led a large army from Kamakura to conquer Fujiwara Taihei of Oshu and came to this place, it is said that Prince Yoshiie recalled that he had worshipped the god of children (our company) in the past, and it is said that he got off his beloved horse and tied his horse to a pine tree in the precincts to pray for victory in battle. It has come to be called.
In addition, the Shin-hen Musashi Fudoki says, "The precincts of the god of the child are located in the shrine of the shrine of the god, which is located in the inner name of the shrine of Shimoma Hikizawa (1,500 tsubo), and the shrine is the shrine of the shrine, and without detailing the history of the shrine of the shrine, two rooms in the head office and two in the worship hall, and a torii gate of eight feet between pillars is built at the entrance of the shrine grounds, and from this it is reached in front of the shrine through twenty-five stone steps. You can learn about the state of the precincts of the shrine at that time.
The date of the founding of the company is uncertain, but the origin of the shrine was the fact that Prince Minamoto Yoshiie prayed for victory in the war when he served in the previous nine years, and the 900th anniversary annual grand festival of the shrine was held in Showa 32 and the 950th anniversary of the shrine in Heisei 19.
Currently, the area is from Shimoma 1-chome to 6-chome, and this town is protected as a place of relaxation for people living in Shimoma and a forest for the protection of the town.
