In the 2nd year of Tentoku (958), on the occasion of the appointment of Lord Fujiwara Masafusa of Musashi Province, the Fujiwara clan and the clan gods of the Imperial Family, Yamato Province, Kasugasha, enshrined in the third hall of the Yamato Province Kasugasha, were enshrined in the enshrinement. At that time, it was located in Mita-eup, Musashi Province, and was greatly revered by the local people, and later, in the 3rd year of Kennin (1203), with the rise of Buddhism, the statue of the eleven-sided Kannon (by Kobo Daishi) was enshrined in the company, and it is said that the gods and Buddha prospered and shone brightly on the four sides of Shintoku. During the astronomical year (1533~55), it was relocated from Ebara Meguro Mita to its present location on the Mita Plateau in Minato-ku. After the construction of Kaneiji Temple in Ueno, the Toeizan Suemyozen-in Temple became a separate temple, and a monk called Mikasayama Jingu Priest presided over it. Inheriting the Tendai sect from generation to generation, both the gods and Buddha have become more and more prosperous, and especially as the only Kasuga shrine in Edo Prefecture, it has been revered by the Tokugawa shogun for generations, and the daimyo of Edo Castle is also revered, and the annual festival on September 9 is a festival of Chongyang, and the Kasuga shrine is also very crowded as an important ritual, and the daimyo and others consecrate the three treasures of white wood with a branch of kuto and chrysanthemum flowers, and after the ceremony, the ritual of drawing chrysanthemum wine is performed directly at the meeting, and many men and women of all ages worship. As one of the specialties of Edo, it is said that it was popular until the end of the Tokugawa period. At that time, all the buildings before the war were made of oak, and the exquisite sculptures were said to be a model of the road, but unfortunately they were burned down due to the damage of the war. In September of Showa 34, the main shrine, the main hall, and the worship hall were built, and the expansion of the Suesha Inari Shrine, the torii gate, and the shrine office was completed, and the post-war reconstruction project was completed. With the widening of Mita Street in Heisei 5, a new company office was built, and in November 14, Komainu was erected, and it continues to the present.
