


Miyamasu Mitake Shrine
宮益御嶽神社This shrine is a branch shrine of Kinho Shrine in Yoshino District, Yamato Province, and although the date of its founding is unknown, it is said to have been founded in the early Muromachi period (1400). The following four deities are enshrined.

In the year of Motokame (1570-72), a statue belonging to a warlord named Ishida Kankai Yoshimasa, a vassal of the Kofu Takeda family, was enshrined in the shrine. After that, Shigebei Ishida, a descendant of Mosho, resided in the company, and it is said that Mobei's son-in-law, Tarobei, guarded the statue. Then, Tarobei erected the Fudo Venerable Stone Statue and the Gyoshin Stone Statue on March 6, Enpo 9, and the Stone Statue of Seishi Bodhisattva on March 23, Enpo 9.
It is said that the name of Shibuya Shinmachi was changed to Miyamasu Town in June of the 13th year of Genroku because of the Chinmori Mitake Shrine.
