Mt. Myoshoji
石歴山 妙勝寺The temple was founded in Asakusa in 1279 in the year of Koan 2 (1279). The Saikai Hoinji was originally a separate temple of Kinryusan Sensoji Temple and was called the Nohka of the North. He discussed the doctrine of the Dharma with his daily life, converted from Tendai Buddhism to Nichiren Buddhism, became a direct disciple of Nichiren Shonin, and changed his name to Nichiren Shojin.
In 1321, due to a flood, it was moved to the land of Shinozaki and called Hokado Myoshoji.
In Taisho 4 (1915), it was moved to its current location due to the Edogawa River renovation work.
