Nerima Otori Shrine
練馬大鳥神社According to tradition, in the second year of Shoho (1645), three cranes flew to Nakaarai Village. The villagers carefully protected it as a ruisho. It is said that after the death of this crane, a shrine was built to enshrine its spirit. After that, he built a shrine on the current site and is said to have solicited the life of the Heavenly Eagle from the Otori Shrine of Izumi Kuni Ichinomiya. The rooster market is crowded with people from the neighborhood.
