Nishiarai Daishi Sojiji Temple
西新井大師総持寺Nishiarai Daishi Sojiji Temple is said to have been founded by Kobo Daishi in 826, and it is said that the area around this area came to be called Nishiarai because there was a well of blessing water on the west side of the main hall. In the first year of Keian (1648), the temple territory received a 25-stone red seal letter, and it is said that it was a temple of the rank of Nakamotoji with many Sueji temples and monshuji temples in the vicinity.
