Ryūkōin Temple

竜光院
It was founded in the 16th year of Keicho (1611) as the head of the Unkoin Tower in the current Bakuro-cho, Chuo-ku. It burned down in a great fire in the 3rd year of the Ming calendar (1657), and after moving several times, it moved to its current location in the 2nd year of Tenwa (1682). In Showa 11 (1936), Bishamondo was built and crowded with pilgrims, but it was destroyed by fire in the Tokyo air raid. The current Bishamon statue was rebuilt in Showa 49.
