Shoin Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture and Setagaya Ward, Tokyo. The shrine is dedicated to Yoshida Shoin, a thinker and educator of the end of the Edo period, and his disciples Hirofumi Ito, Aritomo Yamagata, and other students of Matsushita Village School. Revered as the god of learning.

■ If you go by train
Get off at Shoin Jinja-mae Station on the Tokyu Setagaya Line and walk north along the Shoin Jinja-dori shopping street for a 3-minute walk.
Shoin Jinja-mae Station is 6 minutes from Sangenjaya Station (147 yen) and 12 minutes (147 yen) from Shimotakaido Station.
■ If you go by car
It is about a 5-minute drive from the intersection of Ring Road No. 7 and Setagaya Street.
■ When going by bus from Shibuya Station
From the Shibuya Station West Exit Bus Terminal, take Tokyu Bus Shibu 21, 22, 23, 24, 26 for 17 minutes, and get off at the Shoin Shrine bus stop (220 yen).
It is a 3-minute walk north from the Shoin Shrine bus stop along the Shoin Shrine Street shopping street.
