Tomioka Hachimangu

Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine is a Hachiman shrine located in Tomioka, Koto-ku, Tokyo. It is also commonly known as Fukagawa Hachimangu. It is the largest Hachimangu shrine in Edo, and the Fukagawa Hachiman Festival, a festival held in August, is one of the three major festivals in Edo. In addition, it is a shrine that originated from Edo Kanshin sumo, and many stone monuments related to sumo wrestling, including the "Yokozuna Wrestler Monument", have been erected in the precincts.
