Yakushiji Nanzoin

A monk named Ensei Bhikkhu founded the temple when he was on a training trip with a statue of Yakushi Nyorai, which is said to be the Buddha of Fujiwara Hidehito, and became immobile in this area. It is also introduced in the topographical records of the Edo period, and in the "Edo Famous Places Zukai" and the "Shin-hen Musashi Fudo Chronicle", it is noted that the third Tokugawa shogun, Iemitsu, often visited.
