


Yukigaya Hachiman Shrine
雪ケ谷八幡神社The founding of the company is said to have been in the Eiroku period (1557~1569), and during the patrol of the jurisdiction of Shinrokuro Ota, a vassal of Hojo Sakyo Tao, he excavated an ancient monument of the Lotus Sutra mandala at our office, and it is said that the Chery of the Lotus Sutra was used to create the Great Bodhisattva Hachiman.
Since then, it has been revered by the people as the most venerable shrine along the old Nakahara Highway, and has been the god of protection in the village of Yukigaya for 450 years.
The precincts are surrounded by the Saireiden Shrine, which enshrines the spirits of the revered clan members, the Suesha Eight Shrines, the Ota Ward Cultural Property Designated Koshin Memorial Pagodas, and the Shrine Forest, which holds the birth stone of the immortal Ōyokozuna Taihoseki, and is popular as a place of relaxation for worshippers in all four seasons.
